Bowling is one of the largest participation sports in the country — yet for decades the tools that separate elite players from everyone else have been locked behind tour stops, college programs, and a small group of coaches. We're changing that.
Our mission
Give every bowler access to elite-level data, tools, and opportunities — so they can improve, compete, and reach their potential. Whether you bowl a 130 in a Tuesday league or a 230 on tour, your shots, your equipment, and your progress deserve to be tracked, understood, and respected the same way.
How pindeck started
pindeck started in a bowling center on a Friday night. We watched bowlers settle a bracket on a napkin, lose track of which ball was actually working on the pattern, and wait around for someone to redo the math at the end of the night. Coaches told us the same thing — they had no clean way to see what equipment, layout, and delivery style were producing results across their roster. We built pindeck to fix all of it on one platform: scoring, equipment, analytics, competition, and a real recruiting pipeline.
What we believe
- Data should belong to the bowler. Your arsenal, your stats, and your history follow you across centers, leagues, seasons, and schools.
- Money handling has to be honest. Append-only ledger, every fee shown before you pay, cash-mode for organizers who'd rather we stay out of it.
- Access beats gatekeeping. Free scoring, free analytics for bowlers in year one, and a recruiting profile any coach can verify — because talent shouldn't be limited by zip code.
- Operators come first. If a secretary, tournament director, or center can't run their night in three taps, we haven't shipped it yet.
Where we're going
Performance analytics that match what tour players use. Lane-pattern overlays and shot-by-shot tracking for any bowler who wants them. A recruiting marketplace that connects high school and youth players with college programs. Real opportunities — gear giveaways, raffles, sponsorships — open to everyone, not just the top 1%. That's the pindeck we're building.
