pindeck.ai — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [Company Legal Name], a [State] [entity type] ("pindeck," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using pindeck.ai and related apps (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Responsible Play & Eligibility Policy.

1. Definitions

• Player / Bowler — an individual user.
• Organizer / Promoter — a user who creates and runs Events.
• League Operator — a user (secretary/treasurer/center) who runs Leagues.
• Event — a bracket, tournament, or competition on the Service.
• In-App Mode — an Event that collects entry fees and pays prizes through the Service.
• Cash Mode — an Event where money is handled directly by the Organizer off-platform; the Service records information only.
• Side Bet — an optional head-to-head wager between Players on a match.
• Prize Pool — pooled entry-fee funds owed to winners; held as a Player liability, not pindeck revenue.
• Wallet — your in-Service balance, recorded in an append-only ledger.
• Subscription — a recurring paid plan (Player, Organizer, Coach/School, League, or enterprise).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or 21 where required by your state) to use any real-money feature, a resident of the United States in a jurisdiction where the relevant features are lawful, and not located in a state or area we have restricted. We may verify your identity, age, and location, and may refuse or limit access.

Minors. Users under 18 may access only non-wagering features (e.g., youth/high-school league play, scoring, equipment tracking) and only with verifiable parent/guardian consent. Minors may not deposit funds, enter In-App Mode Events, place Side Bets, purchase paid raffle tickets, or receive payouts. See our Privacy Policy regarding minors' data.

3. Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information, maintain one account, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Real-Money Contests, Side Bets & Prizes (In-App Mode)

pindeck offers skill-based bowling competitions. Where offered and lawful:

• Entry fees and Side Bet stakes are charged at checkout; the fee breakdown (Prize Pool vs. platform fee vs. organizer fee) is shown before you pay.
• Platform fees (current defaults, subject to change with notice): bracket participation 3% capped at $1.00 per entry; Side Bets 3% capped at $0.50 per bet; paid raffle tickets 5% of the paid amount. Organizers may add disclosed per-entry fees.
• The Prize Pool is held for and owed to winners. pindeck does not take the Prize Pool as revenue.
• Outcomes depend on skill; we do not guarantee any winnings.
• Scores require opponent confirmation and are subject to a dispute window. We may void, adjust, withhold, or reverse results, entries, or payouts in cases of fraud, collusion, error, or rule violations.
• Withdrawals may require identity verification (KYC) and may be subject to holds, review thresholds, and applicable law.

5. Cash Mode

In Cash Mode, the Organizer collects and distributes all money directly. pindeck is not a party to those transactions, holds no funds, and provides software and recordkeeping only. Disputes about Cash Mode money are between Players and the Organizer.

6. Wallet & Payments

Deposits, balances, and withdrawals are recorded in an append-only ledger. Balances are not bank deposits, earn no interest, and are not insured. Card and payment processing is handled by [Stripe] under their terms; we do not store full payment-card numbers. We may apply holds, dormancy handling, and verification consistent with applicable law.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You authorize recurring charges. You may cancel before renewal to stop future charges. Fees are [non-refundable except as required by law / subject to the refund policy at [LINK]]. We may change prices with prior notice. You are responsible for applicable taxes.

8. Leagues, Raffles & Giveaways

League dues and prize funds may be collected in-app (where lawful) or tracked for cash handling. Raffles and giveaways, including free monthly giveaways tied to games played, are void where prohibited and subject to their official rules.

9. Organizers, Coaches & League Operators

If you run Events, Leagues, or teams, you are responsible for the lawfulness of your activities, accurate disclosures, timely payouts (including Cash Mode), and compliance with local law. You agree to indemnify pindeck for claims arising from your Events. Your relationship to pindeck is that of an independent user, not an employee or agent.

10. Performance & Equipment Data

You grant pindeck a license to use data you submit (scores, equipment, oil patterns, performance) to operate the Service and to create aggregated and de-identified analytics that we may use and share or license to third parties (e.g., manufacturers, pro shops, sponsors), as described in the Privacy Policy. We apply de-identification controls (including a minimum aggregation threshold) and contractual restrictions against re-identification.

11. Prohibited Conduct

No fraud, collusion, match-fixing, score manipulation, multi-accounting, money laundering, use by ineligible or restricted persons, circumvention of geo/age controls, scraping, or interference with the Service.

12. Taxes

You are solely responsible for taxes on winnings and prizes. We may issue tax forms (e.g., 1099) and withhold where required, and may require a valid taxpayer ID before payout. The Tax Center is informational and not tax advice.

13. Intellectual Property

The Service, software, and brand are owned by pindeck or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable license to use the Service. You retain your content, subject to the license in Section 10.

14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, pindeck's aggregate liability is limited to [the greater of amounts you paid us in the prior [12] months or $[100]], and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

15. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Waiver
